Sue manages our overall work programme, including our Business Forum. A highly experienced sustainable food policy strategist, advocate and policy research leader, Sue’s background is firmly rooted in ethical and sustainable food issues.
Before taking up her role at the Food Ethics Council, Sue headed up the Sustainable Development Commission’s Enabling Sustainable Lives team advising government on sustainable food and farming policy. Previously she was Principal Policy Advocate at the National Consumer Council and co-director of the Food Commission. She is also Chair of the Brighton & Hove Food Partnership, which aims to make healthy and sustainable food readily available to all across the city.
