On Monday 15th March the Council of Food Policy Advisors published its second report to the Government.
Among other things, it recommended the government’s procurement policies should be sustainable, that there should be a clear government plan to cut agricultural GHG emissions, and that efforts to promote healthy diets and environmentally sustainable food production should focus on the power of consumer demand to bring about change.
