Working for food

We rarely see the labour that puts dinner on our plates. Yet  across the globe, and even here in the UK there are many thousands of people bonded into agricultural labour, earning barely enough to survive, and working with little or no  regard to safety or health.

Often, the work people do to get food into our cupboards is deeply exploitative. Here in the UK there is regulation to try and curb the worst of such practices. But is it enough?
