Hope and resilience in hard times

Food Ethics Council’s impact report 2020

Last year prompted monumental shifts in how we grow, distribute, access and eat food. The pandemic has intensified the need to build just and resilient food systems with ethics at the heart.

“The pandemic has intensified the need to build just and resilient food systems with ethics at the heart. At the Food Ethics Council, we have continued our efforts on building these systems as part of our core mission. In the changing contexts of 2020, we have adapted our work arrangements and programmes to ensure we were responding to the needs of the sector, whilst holding our larger vision and mission close.”

Our new impact report shows how we adapted to these rapidly changing circumstances and how we continue to advocate for long-term, transformational change in our food systems. Fair food systems will get us to a more hopeful and resilient world faster.
