A new report from the Food Farming & Countryside Commission’s #TheFoodConversation reveals that citizens across the UK see the food system as unfair, unsustainable and unhealthy – and have a huge appetite for government intervention across a range of policy areas.

It’s great to see the extent of citizen support for action in specific policy areas, including:

• Better standards in schools and hospitals
• Criminalising environmental destruction
• Support & incentives for farmers
• Targets to reduce ultra-processed food
