The Food Ethics Council joined as a signatory in Sustain’s Open Letter to the Government and NHS Business Services Authority urgently calling for the Healthy Start scheme’s value to be raised in line with inflation, for uptake and eligibility data per local authority to be published, and issues/delays with the application process to be resolved immediately. These issues are leaving hundreds of thousands of eligible families without access to the scheme.
