Over dinner at a celebrated London restaurant participants discussed issues including how to engage the public around acceptance of new and existing technologies; how the benefits in agricultural knowledge, science and technology can be shared fairly; and how synergies can be ensured between commercial interests in developing new products and services, and societal needs such as global food security.
