Deputy Director

Beth works across the food system to join the dots across policy, practice, relationships and networks, building equitable food futures with ethics and care. As deputy director, Beth plays a key role in the design and delivery of projects, has responsibility for team culture and care, supports with fundraising and anything else needed to ensure the smooth, ethical and kind running of the Food Ethics Council.

She is a co-founder of Carrick Greengrocers and co-chairs the Belfast Sustainable Food Partnership.

Beth joined the Food Ethics Council as food citizenship lead in 2021 from the UK Portfolio of the National Lottery Community Fund where she worked for many years focusing on food justice and access, and digital transition in civil society.

Beth lives in Belfast with her family and a little dog called Duncan.
